An AI-driven co-parenting platform designed to help families navigate digital wellbeing through personalized, research-informed guidance.
	&#38;nbsp;
	FALL 2025I joined Ginko during its early, MVP phase and led the design of two key experiences: the app’s onboarding flow and a browser-based “playbook generator,” a free lead-generation tool used to introduce users to the product’s value.&#38;nbsp;

Foundational UI elements existed but were not yet formalized into a defined design system.
I evaluated and built upon these components in Figma, refining and adapting them to support real product use cases across mobile and web. Referencing atomic design, I audited existing components and organized them into a functional, system-aware structure.

	My focus was on applying components consistently, identifying gaps, and ensuring responsive behavior as features shipped.
Given the range of iPhone screen sizes, I designed three mobile breakpoints to preserve layout clarity, manage content density, and minimize unnecessary scrolling, particularly during onboarding where early engagement and retention were critical.

	BIPOC Design History

 Identity expansion of the transformative educational platform and its third course series,&#38;nbsp;Design Histories in Southwest Asia &#38;amp; North Africa: Voices from the SWANA Diaspora. The third course series&#38;nbsp;highlights community diversity, uplifts vulnerable voices, challenges dominant narratives, and specifically amplifies the voices of unheard women in the SWANA region.

	FALL 2022Founded at the height of the pandemic in 2020, BIPOC Design History aims to tackle the frustrations and glaring gaps in BIPOC design representation. Two years later, the platform’s identity was revisited alongside the development of its third course.

The third course implements a bilingual wordmark and pattern based on an Arabic glyph, alluding to architectural structures in the SWANA region.

	IDENTITY
Initial iterations focused on the jharokha as an indicator of essay openers.
Howard Hodgkin’s collection of Indian court paintings comprise of Mughal-era miniatures that depict the lush sceneries and architecture of that time. We pulled from these paintings to build the color palette and the foundational layout grid.

The final implements 29LT Foundry’s Azer and Zarid type families.The multilingual scripts (also designed in Arabic) subtly tie back to the Mughal rule through their calligraphic angular cuts and their diamond-shaped diacritics.

	STRATEGY
DEEP is a directory for products and dermatologists that specialize in darker skin tones.We conducted user research to consolidate common pain points within the skincare industry. The issues that we decided to focus on were lack of inclusion, education, and streamlined access. Various touchpoints were designed to center the varying needs of those with darker skin tones.

The promotional campaigns shift the focus away from cosmetic skincare. Instead, DEEP’s messaging normalizes skin variances, while raising awareness on skin disorders that need treatment.

	UI/UX
The DEEP website is the primary touchpoint users interact with to get curated treatments.We created an information architecture that can house the multifaceted nature of the DEEP platform. Users that have taken the skin quiz will experience the site differently with a personalized market and access to the dermatologist repository.

A Community Platform
 A multimedia repository of Indian traditions and stories based on community submissions of personal archives and opinion pieces

Kiran is presented as an inviting, open, and inspiring platform through its social media, an entry point for most users.

The website is a central hub that allows for visitors to be subscribers and contributors.
The intuitive pathways ensure that every visitor can understand Kiran’s purpose and scope of material. The subscribed users are able to access all the articles by using various filters.

	Unlike its publication counterpart, the website’s UI makes use of a strict layout to prioritize easy readability. This layout is paired with Kiran’s vibrant branding for a seamless user experience. User interactions consist of horizontal scrolling through volumes, issues, and articles. The only time the website breaks its grid is for the article catalogue.


	UI/UXThe publication’s augmented reality supplement enables community dialogue and visualizes layers of information and resources in a spatial manner.The three levels of information include the article’s “Author Notes”, “Personal Notes” that the user would take that are private, and the community “Discussion” that consists of public question/answer format conversations that the user can participate in.
